Kevin Freiheit: Can Corey Tropp earn a spot on the Sabres roster?

If Tropp is on the sabres roster I think it's safe to say that the sabres have the worst forwards in the NHL

Hes a good hard working 4th liner similar to paille. And colorado has the worst Defense in the NHL and they have one of the weaker starting goalies in the NHL.

I hope he does. I'd rather him than Flynn. This team isn't tough enough.

I would love to have tropp on either or 3rd or 4th line, after watching him play a few games it seems like he has more potential that most people think. At the very least he would be an upgrade over Kaleta.

Avalanche have 4 players 21 or younge that would be in the sabres top six. Everyone's predicting a scary offense from the Avs in the next couple of years so I'd be jealous of our forwards

I didn't know that. Well, I guess that's Tropp's to lose. I just can't see the organization moving another young center to wing for a team that isn't a contender. Let Larsson earn time in the middle, playing top 6 minutes in Rochester, and let Tropp prove he can grind in the bigs. Seems logical.

Goaltending is overrated in the NHL. I'm sure the hawks would have won the cup with varlamov so he's definitely serviceable. Plus if our forwards can carry us I'm sure the Avs can definitely be a playoff contender.
